Some older web applications may not be fully functional in Internet Explorer 11. On Windows 8, it comes with the "Modern UI" version optimised for operation by touch. Compared to version 9, a useful new feature is the spell-checker built into Internet Explorer 11. On Windows 7, its user interface is very similar to the previous version. If your Windows 10 machine does not have Internet Explorer 11 and you have a valid reason to still use it, please install the CMF package " Enable IE 11 for Windows 10" on CMF Add/Remove package page.
It is still available on Windows 10, but Edge or Firefox are strongly recommended.
